T-98 Source Finder

T-98 Source Finder is a tool for the detection of radioactivity in ferrous materials inside rail cars, trucks, containers.
It is used at border inputs, foundries and scrap metal collectors, with the aim of detecting and certify the presence or absence of radioactive sources inside of loads.

The instrument complies with standard: UNI 10897.

It Includes:
- 1 Control Unit;
- n ° 1 Charger with connector (220 6V);
- n ° 1 probe NaI (Tl) 2 "x2" with carbon fiber casing;
- n ° 1 Auction fiber extension of coals;
- No. 1 Transport case for housing of all parties.

Control unit
Control unit with display (digital and bar-graph, autoranging of 6 decades), automatically illuminable with darkness sensor and membrane keyboard, with 4 function keys.
The control unit is housed in metallic container IP seal 65 and allows the use with different probe types (scintillation and GM).
The instrument can function as rate meter (cps, mSv / h), supplement (total counts).
You can be set with continuity 2 alarm values ​​(from 0.1 to 100 times the average background) intensity. The alarm is visual (LED) and acoustic.

Power supply: 4 rechargeable internal batteries, 1.2 V.

The instrument can be used both with handle both with a shoulder strap device, for greater freedom of movement.
