Although it is a very easy to use metal detector, it is ideal for novice researchers, but it is already a very complete and reliable tool. The technology used is VLF and the operating frequency is 10 KHz. Silver μMax allows to perform searches both in motion (movement) with adjustable metal discrimination, and in non-motion all metal (with a fixed plate in all metals). A special circuit to eliminate false signals (Low Noise Circuitry) allows to stabilize the research a lot. The research plate is of an elliptical 8 "type.
