DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the ICON DATA II data logger is to create target images with 2D and 3D display capabilities.

Any metal detector or magnetometer operating in static mode also known as "non motion" is compatible with the ICON DATA II data logger.

Non-motion metal detectors do not need the movement of the search coil to generate the audio signal. In addition, the signal will strengthen as it approaches the target and will continue to sound even if the search coil remains motionless above it.

The ICON DATA II unit reads hundreds of signals from the metal detector every second. The signals are converted into digital data and transmitted over a wireless connection to an Android tablet (not included). The image is displayed by the provided application. The ICON DATA II recorder instantly displays the image of the detected target while the user is using the metal detector in the field.

The ICON DATA ΙΙ Wireless Data Logger is more than just a data logger, it is a real-time imaging and target analysis device on site.

ICON DATA II is sensitive enough to display anomalies such as voids in the ground, previously excavated soil and underground foundations. All of these types of voids and structures interfere with the metal detector's threshold sound and emit faint noise signals from the detector's speaker that the human ear ignores. ICON DATA II amplifies these signals. The user can decide to select whether he wants to see only metal targets or even ground anomalies, having full control of the scan with many options available.

The data collection mode can be set to automatic for flat surfaces when a constant pace can be maintained or set to manual for uneven surfaces and areas with trees, bushes, rocks.

Coloring in graphic mode, calculation of the depth of the target, modification of the graph, saving or exporting the image in various formats.

After setup, the ICON DATA II app guides you with voice commands to start, step and turn. It can be paused or restarted at any time. It also has a playback mode that repeats the actual recorded original scan on the screen.
