Rostisol is the only rust protection currently available with pH 7, applied directly on rust it forms a permanent protective layer. More than a rust converter it is a completely original combination of active substances that make it different from all acid-based rust converters. Whereas the usual rust converters contain acids of resistances ranging from 0.5 and 3.2 Rostisol is completely neutral at a pH of 7 and combines with rust to produce an acid-free iron-organic coating that protects against further corrosions.
The creamy yellow solution of Rostisol is free of lead, chromates and similar toxic materials. It is normally applied with a roller, brush or brush or can be sprayed simply by diluting it with clean water (adding 10% maximum water). Used brushes and spraying tools can be cleaned and rinsed with turpentine. It is not necessary to remove the rust present. Simply brush away all rust particles or flakes. Rostisol is an important innovation compared to all acid-based rust converters.
