ANALOGUE ALTIMETER

BARIGO analog altimeter measuring range from 0 to 4000 m. with a division of 25 meters and double staircase. The instrument is equipped with a double scale for measuring altitude and atmospheric pressure.

The altimeter works according to the barometer principle. The measuring element used inside the instrument consists of an aneroid capsule made of copper-beryllium alloy, capable of recording even the smallest variations in atmospheric pressure and a mechanical movement. Going up from the sea level to the mountain, the atmospheric pressure decreases then the weight of the air mass is lower. This principle is used in the altimeter to measure the local altitude and of course also the pressure.

The case is in ABS aluminum color with a gray satin dial. The altimeter / barometer is sold with leather sheath and cord for transport.
