Omega 8500 Teknetics Teknetics Omega 8500 is the metal detector that replaces the Omega 8000 model. Omega 8500 is equipped with a large LCD display with intuitive interface and easy to use. The display shows the details of the survey, including the Target ID value and the depth reading (in inches). The 64 levels of discrimination allow an accurate adjustment to eliminate the unwanted metal. The volume of each of Target category is adjustable in an independent manner, in order to increase the tone of that category to the passage on the target. The variety of settings and adjustments make Omega 8500 suitable for research on all types of terrain.
